I am inviting you to engage in my thoughts and occasional comments on life, politics, the economy, restaurants, sports, and whatever attracts my interest.  Please be nice.  I don't always hold the beliefs I espouse.  I believe the strength of a democracy is in free and educated thought.  I believe our lives are enriched by sharing and sometimes being challenged.  Overall, please don't take things too seriously, only the stuff that is important.  Food, shelter, a paycheck- education and medical care for your loved ones, for example.
